It's amazing how a fresh coat of paint can transform a space simply by altering its color. Selecting the perfect paint color can be challenging due to the vast array of options, and one shade can influence another to appear differently. You might not have the budget to repaint your trim and doors, requiring coordination with an existing color. This can all feel overwhelming, but after nine years as a designer, I've compiled a list of foolproof colors. Here they are!

This creamy hue is a foolproof choice, and I've never had a client dissatisfied with this stunning warm white. It mixes well with nearly everything and complements brass and red oak accents beautifully. For a darker trim, opt for Sherwin Williams Antique White, or choose Sherwin Williams Pure White for a lighter trim. You won't be disappointed with this color, it's timeless and lovely.

One of the most appealing aspects of Light French Gray is its ability to introduce warmth into a space. Unlike cooler grays that can sometimes feel stark or uninviting, this particular shade has a gentle warmth that can make a room feel more welcoming. It pairs wonderfully with warm wood tones, rich textiles, and even metallic accents, creating a beautiful balance that is both stylish and comfortable.

Sherwin Williams Dark Clove creates a distinct atmosphere. While it might be too intense for an entire house, using this colour in a bedroom or bathroom adds a wow factor that won't let you down. Pair it with a cognac chair or a plaid area rug, and the color is sure to make a statement.
