  • What is the difference between interior decorating and interior design?

    Interior design involves structural and architectural changes — moving walls, specifying cabinetry, managing trades and permits. Interior decorating works with the existing structure to transform how a space looks and feels through furniture, colour, textiles, lighting, and accessories. Danielle offers both, which means she can take a project from a full renovation all the way through to the final styled room.

  • How much does interior decorating cost in Kelowna?

    Interior decorating in Kelowna is typically priced by the hour or as a flat-fee package depending on the scope. A colour consultation runs approximately $150 to $300. A full room decorating package — furniture selection, sourcing, styling, and installation — typically ranges from $1,500 to $5,000+ depending on the size of the space and the number of rooms. We discuss scope and pricing transparently at the first consultation.

  • Do you work with my existing furniture or do I need to buy everything new?

    Both. We always start by assessing what you have and what is worth keeping. Most decorating projects are a mix — keeping key pieces that work, reupholstering or repurposing others, and sourcing new items to fill the gaps. You never need to start from scratch unless you want to.

  • Can you help me decorate just one room?

    Yes. We take on single-room projects all the time. Whether it is a living room refresh, a primary bedroom overhaul, or a home office that finally needs to feel like a real workspace, we are happy to focus on one space at a time.

  • Do you offer virtual or e-design decorating services?

    Yes. For clients outside of Kelowna or those who prefer a remote process, we offer e-design packages that include a full room concept, furniture sourcing list, colour palette, and layout plan delivered digitally. You purchase, source, and install on your own timeline.

  • What areas do you serve for interior decorating?

    We are based in Kelowna and serve the full Okanagan Valley — West Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland, Summerland, Penticton, and Vernon. We also take on select projects throughout BC for the right scope.
